I'm tired of Nicki's I'm black so they are not awarding me ********. Beyoncé got 5 nominations for a video that was recorded on iPhone and she is a black woman too, bye Nicki.
Taylor deserved more and she got it, if Anaconda was released a few months ago and/or still relevant enough for MTV they'd have give it a nom too.

Taylor's beef with Katy was just that. A beef with Katy. Not with anyone else, with her.
Nicki's beef is with the VMAs. Not with Taylor. She dragged and insulted Taylor for absolutely no reason but to do so, especially when there's three men who could have just as easily claimed her spot. And Beyonce, who's black and nominated so PROBABLY not racism holding Nicki down

Which is why Taylor said the "pinning two women against each other" comment. I don't know the VMA's record for snubbing black people for awards or not but I wouldn't be surprised. The Grammys has this problem. Not saying its the case here though
As I said in the VMA thread before noms, Anaconda was a fad that lasted a couple weeks. It did not have the impact to be recognized 12 months after the fact. Especially since she has not done anything else in The Pinkprint era as notable. Only came and went and then what? She failed to make FM and TB the huge moments they should've been. And we already have 7/11, so the late release of Feeling Myself wasn't gonna help its case.
tbh Taylor has been serving so much fun during her 1989 era. I hope she continues like this. tbh she's the pop girl with the most balls lol.
