When I first got the album this was my favourite song by a longshot.
It's still among the best but I guess with time it's been replaced (by a song you all eliminated several places ago ). Never Let Me Go has what I want from a Florence song - restraint. It makes it more pleasant to listen to and doesn't blow things out too quickly so I can return to it later.
That being said:
Eeveelution: I'm not petty enough to give it a 0, just because it's popular. But I have never liked this at all, it's just so bland to me, which is not something I expect from Florence.
Interesting sidenote - if you're wondering why its so low:
Eevee gave it a 1, and Wonderlust a 2.
Both shockers since they were some of Florence's biggest stans.
Am I the only one who think that Only If For A Night is christmasy? Do you guys hear it too?
The majority of Ceremonials is very sound dated to late Fall and early Winter, at least IMO. And while the album is pretty much flawless, this prevents Ceremonials from being my favorite Florence album, as her other two albums aren't that seasonal to me.
