well it was a bigger event than 7/11 and far better quality wise. And on top of that Gaga didn't try to be trendy for the GP + put a lot of money and effort in it, by directing it herself.

The irony...7/11 too no effort. All of Gaga's videos are the definition of try-hard. Love ha though, but I found this irony to be hilarious. And I am certain Bey didn't expect the GP to be so receptive of 7/11. It happened very organically. It went viral with no promotion at all, and she didn't even release it to VEVO right of the back.
