I agree. It's all watered down contemporary sonic trends and bland pastiche of the styles and songs of other, better artists. Lorde, Sia, Katy, Avril, Haim, Lana, etc. all have pretty obvious fingerprints all over the album. It's not even an original album.
I just have no idea how you can have Max Martin and Shellback produce 75% of your album and only come up with like two halfway decent hooks, one of which is ripped straight out of Passion Pit's "Carried Away."
