Florida is where it's at. Though, be warned that Florida water is the pits. Also, it's humid all the time, doesn't really get cold (you'll be wishing for some cold weather), rains like hell while it's hot, etc.

I like the northeast just not in the winter. If I were rich every winter I'd fly to Australia or New Zealand because it'd be Summer there and that way I could just completely avoid winter
