A '90s (?) song came on in the car yesterday and I can't remember who sang it but it had the word "amore" in the chorus and was sung by a female vocalist and I really want to know what it was.
I feel bad that we've reached a point where the kids don't remember her DOMINATION ugh...
She had like 3 or 4 songs in the Top 10 at one point and absolutely dominated 2002. Her debut sold 500k in the first week (a record that held until Susan Boyle came along).

I remember most of the artists back then.
She was kinda local and never had a global hit so that makes sense.
And Ashanti's career downfall was just bizarre. She didn't have a huge scandal that brought her down, her music didn't suddenly become ******, (Only U is her best song; deserved Foolish-level success), and R&B was only becoming even more popular by the mid-2000's, but the public just dropped her for no explained reason.
Yeah, her career was doing just fine up until the movie. The way that it just killed both of their careers for the rest of the decade is amazing.
Ben didn't have another successful leading role until Gone Girl.
JLo did have Monster In Law in 2005 which was a solid hit but yeah, that was about it. Getting on American Idol has given her a huge resurgence in popularity.
She truly has mastered the art of flopping at everything but somehow still making tons of money and coming out looking like she's uber successful and popular. I live for it.
The way she betrayed her "friend." Multi-Grammy winning artists Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga must know what scum Katy is. Don't get me wrong -- I love that Ke$hit is a suffering slave. But wow, this is just sad.
OMG.
The pic of $lave w/ the bottle of vodka [or water in a Smirnoff bottle?] in her hand.
