And not that I pay literally any mind to girl groups since they're universally mediocre in my experience (though I have admittedly not looked into their discogs), the last girl group song to go #1 in Europe was also a Little Mix song in 2012; the next most recent was again Little Mix in 2011; and before that it was Girls Aloud in 2008. From what I can find, anyway. Just food for thought.
