Children in Need was a set so it got lost among her other hits, same with the Thanksgiving show. Dick Clark isn't somewhere you can really push a new and/or underperforming single tbh, and Music Station was Japan-specific (thank God so nobody remembers the wig mess). The others weren't televised. But damn, the UK really god MTN shoved down their throats (EMAs, Chatty Man, Children in Need and X-Factor!)

Whaaat, I actually the the X Factor performance was one the best vocally. (Other than that part where she got a bit off key the bridge, but that was obviously accidental.) But I know what you're saying, people expected it to be much more engaging than it was. And ya the UK did get a lot of intense, tightly packed promo for Marry the Night, and the results show: a respectable #16 peak and 200,000 in sales.

Vocally MTN always slays, even when he's doing the big choreo from the chorus I find, but yeah X-Factor was expected to be an event. Her first time performing there since her amazing bathtub Bad Romance one and then she's sitting in a damn confession box with ha head cut off

Nothing is close to her Grammys nomination performance for me though. When she does that random riffing in the "niiiiiiight" section towards the end it absolutely slays. Plus that whole set was epic.

Marry The Night was quite big in the UK tbh. One of her most respected and enjoyed songs, it was often sung around school in late 2011/early 2012. The X Factor performance definitely helped.

Gaga has a bajillion haters online, most of them Madonna stans, and most totally bat-****. Why bother when almost nobody is listening? If he leaks stuff, then yeah go after him, otherwise ignore it.

It would have made more sense for her team to crush that Tanoff/Dark_Lorde guy for the defamation he posted about her costing jobs at Interscope which he literally made up from his own $25M promo story and got Perez and other hate sites to reblog. If they start that next time for LG5, Haus/Bobby/Interscope would do well to take whatever few coins they have to their names. Maybe then they'd think twice about trying it

Applause is immaculately produced and never gets old. There are so many layers and I heard a new part every listen up until like December 2013. I can't believe we're basically a month off of it's 2 year anniversary. It feels like yesterday.
