It's stupid though, why would anyone stan Future when he can't sing and his songs are ALL meaningless?

I mean, that's just it. He's a phony -- he completely panders to whatever he thinks will get him an audience. That's why he's popular. In fact, he admitted as much in the first part of his new "documentary" series on youtube, when he commented on how people didn't like his last album, and then said:

I feel like my better judgment is to go back and record and make the music that I know the people want. I know they want the ratchet **** from me, I know they want me to say the most disrespectful **** it is because I came in like that. I gotta say some off the wall **** to get people's attention.

He even had the nerve to say Ciara should've made a Body Party part 2 just to "give the fans what they want," rather than follow her own musical interests (which thankfully she did, because they led her to give us DLWML). So yeah, he's doing well because he's addressing topics that will get him attention, working in a genre that caters to male artists, and doing a sound that's hot at the moment. But will he have Icon Ci's staying power? I doubt it.
