When somebody has a dating preference that excludes their own race its called self-hate, period and point blank. I don't know about the gay community but just about every time I see a black man who exclusively dates or only messes with non black women (Taio Cruz types) and I hear their reasons for this I see a man who has deep feeling of insecurity about his race and seeks acceptance and approval from the white race. That is until they get a wake up call.

Hmm. Well you said you wouldn't date Asians because you want similarities with a person and from the same culture but whites and latinos are also not similar to you and aren't of the same culture. But you'd date them right? I'd assume so since you only wrote you wouldn't date Asians. Preference means both things are good, but one is better than the other to you. If you are excluding hundreds of millions of people because of skin color and saying you won't date them because you aren't attracted to that skin color then it's not a preference at all

I've never dated a black guy, but there are plenty of sexy black men. They're usually strait though, and white men are more attracted to me.

What's so bad about your own race?

It's a very bizarre trend, and it's mostly common w/ black men (opposed to black women) I remember reading somewhere that black MEN (both gay and straight) were more likely to date outside their race than any other group. I think it's because black men are objectified for their sexual prowess and many use that to seek validation from outsiders.

You are allowed to date the type of person you feel attracted to. I don't see a problem in that. I'm latino and I would rather date a middle eastern guy instead of any other race because I find them ****ing attractive, I don't think that makes me racist or anything.

You guys need to stop screaming YOU'RE RACIST at people and look a little deeper as to why they feel that way. I agree that "I don't date black men" is a form of racism but it's just one you're gonna have to deal with because you don't know what that person has went through.

There are those black kids who grow up in the hood and are relentlessly bullied by other black kids for acting "too white" or "acting gay." Should those kids hate or dislike the entire black race because of what they've been through? No. But they can't help how they feel about how some people treated them, and it may take a LONG time before they get over it, if ever.

But don't think anything above is about me because Im in love with the Cocoa lol.
