Shakira, Knee, Madead, Gagz, Perry, Beyst, rih, Mariah, Kylie. They are all of the same crop. They are pop girls that make fun pop music with occasional bursts of artistry and experimentation. You pretending like you stan for some indie alternative rock artists and pop music of others is beneath you is one of the most laughable things ever.
Also Shakira managed to stay successful for more than 2 LPs and 3 years and she still has her looks and does not have a public image that is tainted. She can easily bounce back with Spanish albums even if Murica rejects her again
I love Bey, Mariah, Kylie and sometimes Katy and listen often to them.
