I don't have emotions attached to that word because I didn't grow up listening to it as a slur
However, I do feel really uncomfortable and hurt when I listen to the version of that word in my native language.
I disagree, the n word sounds amazing. i'm kinda jealous of some black people when they say it to each other like that because it sounds so warm, friendly and soulful, I wish white people had a hypocorism that really packed a whallop like that.

I say that word tbh. Words are only harmful if you give them power. Then again I have a very dry sense of humor... but I say that word to take away all the negativity attached to it. Like if I'm at forever 21 with my friend I may say something like: omg what a ******y ass shirt. It takes away all the horrible connotations attached to it and makes it laughable and powerless.
That being said, when I see a straight cis person say it from a place of power that's counter productive. It puts the power back into the word when calling someone that.

You all really don't care if some straight person says f****t casually? Not necessarily about a gay person but the same way people use b*tch or the n-word. Or is it only ok if another gay person says it
