Insidious 3? that movie is generic garbage, an embarrassment to the series, the V/H/S: Viral of the trilogy.

It Follows is atmospheric horror. If you can't appreciate that/require jump scares then I feel sorry for you.

I saw DBAOTD when it came out and it was decent, the creatures looked too corny/fake to be scary.

Has anyone you watched The Gallows? I've seen some of it well working and it looks rather predictable. Also the acting is awful.

I just finished watching this! There were some low budget moments, like you mentioned, but they were done in a very self-aware and charming way, which really worked for the arc storyline. Despite basically just being a giant horror cliche (again, in a charming way) it was actually a lot of fun to watch!

Clowns usually don't bother me any, but that last sequence on the tape really creeped me out. That very last scene with the girl having no arms or legs and words engraved on her was MESSY, though.

Don't Be Afraid is that terrible Katie Holmes movie right? Yeah... It Follows takes a couple watches to realize its vision but it's better than that mess.

The Gallows was not the greatest movie ever. Definitely cliche and predictable. ( The moment the mom was interviewed, I was like she's the girlfriend, her daughter's the main chick blah blah ). The jumps got me, some of them. So it was fun, but definitely wait for HD leak on Pirate lol.

That clown has no ****ing chill whatsoever! But I really like it, I play it every Halloween along with Halloween and Trick r Treat.

BTW The Gallows was alright.

Like someone said earlier in this thread the entire plot was predictable... but definitely watch if you like jump scares.

Downloaded and watched the Gallows. It was a mess. The nausea inducing shaky camera, to the bad bad acting, to the predictable plot. Even the jump scares were predictable.
