Kathryn Hudson stumbles unsteadily into the fourth grade art room. Her students look waveringly at her as she shakily makes her way to her desk.
"Ok kids we're going to be painting with acrylics today!" She shouts, her voice cracking in a strangled half sob. "Don't forget to free your minds and let your art flow through you!" These words remind her of a once bitter rivalry, far in the past.
As the students grab their equipment, Kathryn reaches into her bag for a water bottle to soothe her aching head. Half asleep, she accidentally brings out her doubled ended maritable aid she used with her partner Verity last night. Luckily, none of her students notice, and she hurriedly puts it back into the crumb-covered depths of her $5.50 clutch bag from target.
