You're acting like it's still used for these reasons. We aren't slaves anymore as if 90% of black people know this about cornrows. I've worn cornrows, plenty of black people I know wear cornrows and nobody knows of this because it's not relevant today. Were we appropriating? People today use it as a regular hairstyle or to protect their hair. And people only throw that weak "lost cause" response when they have nothing to argue.
What's your point here? If you admit that people are doing the most criticizing Kylie for wearing this hairstyle, what's your point? If it's to educate me on the history of cornrows, then I learned something new thank you, but my point still stands that white people can wear it and everyone needs to stop being offended
