Two - Ally isn't as fluent as Camila and Lauren, but she does speak quite a bit of Spanish. But I agree that Dinah and/or Normani's part should have gone to Lauren. I mean, they were already re-recording the song, so it's not like it would have taken any extra effort to have Lauren record something in place of one of the other girls.
I also agree with J-esper that a Spanish rapper or solo edit would have been amazing, but this is Epic we're talking about, and there's no way they'd ever put in more work than the bare minimum necessary And don't even get me started on promoting on social media. Let's just be happy that we got some sort of improvement after the BBMA riot, because things were WAY worse in that regard before.
I forgot about the whole BBMA thing lmao. I remember seeing the acoustic version and thinking, they couldnt have done this on the award show? Lord....They should've released the spanish version, acoustic version, and a dance remix for this all at once. But....it is Epic fail, so...
If they wanted to release an acoustic version, all they would have to do is take this exact performance and put it on iTunes:
It's such a flawless performance, and there's pretty much zero background noise. I guarantee you if this or something similar were on iTunes, it would at least outsell the Spanish version.

yeah they easily could have done that, I wnat to slap some heads at the Epic HQ so bad
its just the way they processed her vocals is tragic.
