Just because Max Martin music is very successful doesn't mean "there's no risk" in someone's career working with him from a different genre wtf?

Explain why Nicki got bombarded everyday in 2012 for the Pop Music since "it was successful and no risk". If Carrie Underwood started making Pop Music with Max Martin you don't think it would be a risk or could seriously hurt her image and career?

Bottom line even if the music was a success her image and reception (not to mention acclaim) could've took a huge hit with the album. Red was already doing that since people were mad at her doing Pop then in favor of Country. Especially with the most generic and cheesy lead single ever "Shake It Off" could've got her turned into a complete joke.

Just because her usual witchcraft worked and everything went perfect for her doesn't mean it wasn't a risk.

Working with Max Martin is NOT a risk, not unless you're someone like Bjork or Martina McBride whom both had to build niche audiences over the course of decades. Taylor Swift was pretty much pop-friendly (I recall the country audience saying her music was too pop to win awards over Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride) so her transitioning to full-on pop was not a big risk. Compared to a Katy record it is a risk.
