Well, I just feel like John is going with the flow and playing "dumb" to get by, which is basically what he is doing. He threw the BOTB for Shelly and Clay because he wanted to gain their trust not realizing that he is essentially on the bottom of their "alliance" or whatever you want to call it anyway.
That is something I really don't understand about these group of players over the last couple of years, why would you promise to throw a comp when you are on the block? It's beyond dumb and once someone puts me on the block, all bets are off and I am going to do what I need to do to win.
