Madonna herself peaked in 1990-91 (pre-Erotica era).
Love that interview she did with Dateline after Justify My Love video release. None of today's popstars can send a message so clear and well-put.
Shame she flopped so badly with Erotica, it was almost like she was scared to be herself in the public eye again, hence her whole 'I'm changed now' persona, as she started studying Kabbalah and speaking in British accent.
And after that, she became simply insufferable.

What I've heard on the radio hasn't been worth following through.
You said you didn't understand how this little ginger troll doll got so many sales, and I said it's because he releases quality music so his looks don't matter.
The problem with the two Ed songs I've heard on the radio is that they make me think his music would be a bore. Mostly ballads and slow guitar stuff. I've just got no motivation to look further.
Tenerife Sea was good, I guess, just more of a song for when you're kinda sorta napping but not quite asleep.
Ed will end up with 7.5-8 million
