Only if you have a shallow definition of what an artist is. I mean literally everyone does the guitar, pen, and paper stuff. What's so special about it? Now if someone comes in to condense THAT process but offers something ELSE in return, say a great piece of work in the end, then why shouldn't that also be considered art?
The example people always give is the architect vs the carpenter. They're both valuable to the process, but provide different things.
