I'm here for Taylor performing at VMA on 8/30: As the first pure POP era, VMA is a good choice.

Edit: Between WILDEST DREAMS and NEW ROMANTICS, obviously NEW ROMANTICS fits MTV VMA much better than WILDEST DREAMS.

I just checked and the closer shows to the VMAs are:

August 26, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA – Staples Center
August 29, 2015 – San Diego, CA – PETCO Park

So I think she could still perform and rehearse between the Staple Center show and PETCO park, she has 2 days and she could still perform the way she does on tour.

I don't think she will premiere the next video before/at VMA, but performing is possible: Performing on Sunday 8/30, release the next single and its MV the day after...PERFECT

2014 VMA was hosted in NYC, based on VMA's history: the host cities switching between NYC and LA, soooo most likely...2015 VMA will be hosted in LA!!!

Edit: I do NOT understand why the host city has NOT been announced yet. MTV better check WIKIPEDIA
