I agree, I'm far less concerned about Alice than most.
It's a reach to call these new songs "great", especially if you're advocating for change.
They sound the same as other CC which is disheartening because that was a part of Alice's "thing".
Copy-pasting some random girl in her place seems shady and uninspired to me. That's not "change".

Their first album was not "witch house".
Even their second and third albums are distinguishably different.
This "new sound" (?) is somewhere in between II and III.
