It's the only site that estimates album totals, so yes everyone here uses it. I mean, there's IFPI but they use shipments and I think stream equivalent albums now so there's just something frustating/inflation-y about it. Plus they don't post a top 40 just a top ten, I think someone would have to buy the yearly report to get the WW albums top 50.
Then Teenage Dream sold 5m & BTW outsold it by a lot.
