You don't need good voice but you need to look the part and act the part or it will just be embarrassing. You can't just put your voice on an r&b production and make it work. Think of Iggy and Vanilla Ice and the way they embarrassed themselves with each new song.

I understand that it had a huge impact and is still remembered but SATC will always be for me overrated af. There was nothing interesting happening during all 6 seasons. A show doesn't necessarily have to be a blockbuster to be good but what's interesting in 4-5 sex addicts wanting to get ****ed all the time?

I don't think Vanilla Ice ever made full fledged R&B music, but then again I'm not familiar with his discography. But as far as I know, he made Hip Hop, which is different. And he failed, because a of a ton of other factors as well.

The reason why Iggy is considered a joke is not because she doesn't "look the part" but because she raps like she's a black female rapper from the american south. If she had kept rapping in her original Australian accent, I'm pretty sure most wouldn't have a problem with her.

SATC is the kind of show where you don't necessarily need to watch it in order if you re-watch it, or you can watch reruns without having to think about what's already happened before that point. It's like Friends in that way.
