I finally got around to watching The Babadook.

I mean I thought it was really well done and had a great build up.
The scary parts were really really scary.

The ending sucked? Does this need spoiler tags?
Did she tame it? Wtf happened. I'm so confused. Either way the ending was lame.

She killed a ****ing dog for gods sake. They could've ended it ANY way they wanted

Long story short- Liked it. Was scared. left feeling a little disappointed

I saw Vertige and Chernobyl Diaries trailers and they look very interesting, I'm gonna watch them

^Chernobyl diaries is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time.Don't waste your time.

Frontiers(a bit long tho) and Inside are brilliant I recommned those

Here's how I interpreted it:
Since the whole movie was just a metaphor for grief, the ending was the mother learning how to live with her grief.
Not getting rid off it, as a death this tragic can never be fully left behind, but she has managed to lock it into a place in her heart(represented by the basement) where she knows it exists but she has control over it and it no longer has the destructive power to destroy her life.She has basically dealt with her grief at last .

I actually liked Chernobyl Diaries. Not great, but the atmosphere was good and it was creepy at times, and I did like the main guy. Wouldn't have expected someone like him to be the lead.

Didn't really care for Frontier(s). TCM in France with gore and neo-nazis. Not bad, but not that good.

As for recommendations, there's Excision (but don't watch the trailer, it spoils the ending). That movie was AMAZING.

YES! AnnaLynne was Oscar worthy. She blew me away. I figured she was some talentless CW star in the vein of Blake Lively/Chace Crawford before (cast on looks), then... woah. Traci Lords was phenomenal too

I just watched The Hills Have Eyes (2006) for the first time, and my feelings on it are pretty mixed. The first half was very disturbing and morbid, to the point where I was feeling physically uncomfortable watching it. However, the second half wasn't nearly as bad, and I actually enjoyed discovering the atmosphere and backstory in further depth. It's definitely a movie that gets you on the edge of your seat, hoping for the best but expecting the worst. but ugh, yeah. I wouldn't watch it again, or the original and sequel, because of how grisly the first half was. I was expecting something along the lines of Wrong Turn, but it was SO MUCH worse. It was almost torture to sit through.

I just realized Halloween Returns will be the FOURTH sequel to the original Halloween 2.

Halloween 4 is a sequel to the original Halloween 2.

I guess you can just count Halloween 3 as a sequel to Halloween 2 because of the 3 in the title, even though it doesn't relate to the other films.

Halloween H20 pretended the Jamie Lloyd films never existed so it was a sequel to Halloween II.

I'm watching Vertige (aka High Lane) i have 20 mins left until the end and its terrible. The acting is terrible along with the unoriginal (but also terrible) Wrong Turn-esque plot (which COULD have been promising had the movie not been so generic). The movie is v predictable and the characters don't make the brightest decision . The script is corny and cheesy also.

Don't waste your time.
