Volkner is the Gym Leader of Sunyshore City and a keen renovator it seems, making his town a solar panel walkway and constantly changing his gym puzzle. Volkner had just beaten his copy of Pokémon X and was depressed by the lack of challenging trainers, and considers leaving his gym to go challenge the Elite Four. His friend Flint gets you to battle him, and by beating him you reignite his passion for the job. By the time you rematch at the Battle Zone he's living for battles. A cool and challenging gym leader with a nice puzzle and cute design, Volkner is a really good leader. His story and character is pretty relatable too, I was a little depressed reading the stats for the XY leaders for this rate, makes me miss Gen 4, or even Gen 5. Solid entry to our Top 5.
8thPrince and AMIT call him "DAD", while HausofNiko calls him "Prince", and Hugamari calls him "KING", he got y'all hot and bothered. keshaspearsxo lived for his bromance with Flint, showing us this picture, hot... let me take a minute, while Staryu says he "looks like he belongs on Gossip Girl", what the **** is Gossip Girl?

Icon is out. The first ever gym leader and an important part of many of our childhoods. Gym Leader of Pewter City but more famous as travelling companion to Ash in the anime, Brock is definitely a beloved character by fans. He was an ok leader, giving you either a walk in the park if you picked Bulbasaur or Squirtle or hell if you chose Charmander. He enjoys excavating Mt. Moon or Diglett's Cave and even trades the player a special Rhyhorn in HGSS. It's hard to see him aside from his anime counterpart so I don't blame anyone for overrating him. I did too.
All of the comments are positive and yet he still didn't make it. Smells like sabotage. Staryu calls him a "daddy", but PhreshDiamond corrects her that he's the "original hetero daddy", and don't you forget it. keshaspearsxo wants "to suck his rock", me too but only in the HGSS. HausofNiko says that he's an "icon from the perma-shut eyes to the rocky hair cut", he is literally iconic. Finally, Hugamari his score was "mostly because of frying/drying pan", another iconic moment, when will others? Wow, y'all wrong for this. |
