some slate article (not reading it) now trumps literally 100s of music critics, the Grammy committee for years all saying Perry makes catchy but vile, redundant music for children? anyone with eyes and ears can hear her sing/burp?

so sad it's come to this in here
It does point out the genius put in that song. I suggest you to read it.
You give me the hummingbird heartbeat
Spread my wings and make me fly
The taste of your honey is so sweet
When you give me the hummingbird heartbeat, hummingbird heartbeat
Clean Bandit, all of their songs >>> anything by that tiresome hoe Jess
Their best song features a black man but due to racism, Jess gets all the promo/attention. She is essentially a symbol of oppression. No-one should support her.
Ok? Cool. Katy Perry did not write that song. Bonnie McKee did. (and later said she regretted doing so)
I didn't give Katy any credit. I just pointed out that the article was legitimate and that you might benefit from reading it, as it explains why a lot of people like that song.
No need to be so ****ing rude. We can have a respectful conversation
