My friend and I dined here last tuesday (27 Aug) and how dissapointing this was. we ordered meatballs and spaghetti and how shocking it was to find 1 meatball each and a small portion of spaghetti. For $17 I thought this was very poor value.

While I initially researched this restaurant, one reviewer mentioned that despite being owned by her parents, there have been no Lady Gaga sightings at this restaurant. And after eating here, who can blame her??
On to the bad, the food. Olive garden has better Italian food, and half the price. In New York there are so many italian restaurants so it's quite embarrassing when you go to a restaurant where watery prego is on your lasagna. We ordered calamari to start, it was over fried and very mediocre. I ordered lasagna, the sauce was so watery and falling apart. One of the worst I've ever had. My boyfriend ordered the penne with sausage and it was completely lack luster. For $20+ he got undercooked pasta with butter and sausage. Zero flavor, mediocre, and way over priced. He sent it back and didn't ask for anything else. Art, the executive chef brought us out two gigantic pieces of cake raving about how they're amazing and made downstairs. Not once apologizing for the meals. The cake was good but I found it way too sugary. This restaurant is stealing your money. Terrible food and way overpriced. I will never be back to this joke of a venue.
I think those reviews of Joanne's are legit. Just look at the gross, messy way Gaga handled her career. Look the gross, messy way she dresses (and this is supposed to be her "classed up" look). They must handle Joanne's kitchen in the same haphazard way.

Lunch was a total disaster -- and a complete rip-off too!!! I ordered several appetizers for us to share and several main courses as well. We all sat at the table for nearly 40 minutes waiting for something to nibble on, anything at all. I asked for bread multiple times -- nothing. I mean nothing. I ordered a couple of salads for us to share. They charged me $9.00 additional as a "sharing fee". Please -- give me a break! When the main courses FINALLY arrived, they were ok -- but COLD. I kid you not.
