In this challenge, you will get to release your very first EP to the world! All 5 of you will deliver a 3-track EP, which means...
TRIPLE CHALLENGE!!!!
Track #1 : The Single Importance : 30%
Since you're a new artist, you need to get your name out there and get some airplay! But can you do it without compromising your artistic integrity? This is the time for you to combine quality and commercial success, two things that are often considered polar opposites in the music industry. Your song has to have the top notch quality of a semi-finals worthy PH entry as well as the appeal and relatability that will make any age demographic share your song on their social media pages and make you the next big thing!
Track #2 : The Blueprint Importance : 30%
We all have that one track that we wish we could touch with our songwriting ; that one track that never gets old and always gets us no matter what and we can only wish to ever write something as effortlessly spine tingling as that song! Well, this is your time to give it a shot! Pick a song that you consider to be your all time favorite ; a song that you regard as a perfect songwriting peak, and try to reach it! You don't get to recycle lyrics or sample or directly copy it. You try to write an original song that is inspired by it, that aspires to reach its level of perfection and that shares the same main topic and running theme as your blueprint song!
Track #3 : The Collaboration Importance : 20%
In order to spice things up, you'll need a guest appearance on your EP, a second perspective that will keep your lyrical content and vibe exciting and diverse. For this challenge, you will collaborate with some widely acclaimed former contestants that competed with you during the live shows. I would like to thank all 5 of them for accepting to return!
