That's a great response, and I appreciate you explaining it in such an informative way. I didn't, and won't, defend anything that Clay or Jace said - POC fetish is wrong, and a lot of what they said is rooted from ignorance and repressed distaste.
However, I stand by my defense for Shelli. I truly do not believe that she meant any harm with saying that she thinks "latte skin" is attractive. Racism is terrible, but humans can't control what they find attractive. Shelli can't force herself to be attracted to dark-skin any more than Becky can with pale skin. It's probably not something that she be spoken on during a live broadcast, but I don't believe there was any malice there. She even tried to broaden the topic by saying Jace didn't have to limit himself, and that she could see him with anyone from any racial/cultural background.
