Gaga came back with ARTPOP after the huge Born This Way era so I'd say she still had some momentum from that. Also, the album wasn't a huge departure for her sound, it just took her sound further. Plus, she had the promo from the album release.
The R8 singles aren't tied to an album, are a departure in sound for Rih, and are all coming from after a break. The difference in peaks make sense to me.
The fact that DWUW doesn't have an video doesn't hold any significance at the moment seeing as though BBHMM video has only just dropped, we'll have to wait and see if the video has any effects on BBHMM in the chart....
But I think AP had a lot of hype surrounding it, probably more hype than R8 has had these past few months
Well Gaga promoted the hell out of the singles while Rihanna has only promoted 45S like 2 times, same for BBHMM and the video for the latter was premiered months after the single peaked while being an urban single.
Her last two LPs flopped critically and commercially. Rihanna has quality in her music and visuals and has been experimenting with a less commercial sound.

BBHMM video was premiered months after the single, yes, but DWUW didn't have a video.
Didn't GaGa get raped and pissed on in the DWUW video by her collaborator/child molester until the label got wind and made her scrap it? That hype alone is more than any promo Rih did for her three songs.
Applause had HUGE promo.
DWUW had COUNTLESS performances PLUS a Christina remix aka hit feature artists. Hasn't all of the songs Christina was featured on hit Top 10 except DWUW?
GUY also had plenty of public performances and wasn't exclusive to TIDAL.
