I feel that this song wasn't about the accountant before but they just made it that for the video to explain the lyrics and tie to her life for drama.
I find it hard to believe that Rihanna, as rich as she is, would be worrying about a few million she lost 5 years ago, so much so that she has to sing about it now?
But maybe she said for a fact that this is the case and I missed that.
