Da'Vonne is not a bigot. I think she just made an ignorant comment while lost in the heat of the moment. It's sad that she views Audrey as a boy in some part of her mind, even if it's her subconscious, but it happens, I guess. Dae recognized that it was the wrong thing to do and is visibly upset about it, proven by the fact that she felt the need to confess to an open ear.

Basically what happened was that Dae left the DR, and then told Jason that she called "someone" a boy while in there. Jason was confused at first, then she repeated and he realized what she meant. She was obviously very distraught about the situation- she wasn't being sassy about it or anything. Very somber.
