Iggy is so hard to like now-a-day. Responding to hate tweets, that she isn't even tagged in? She clearly is looking for attention in anyway possible, to stay relevant. Her last single Trouble flopped (it was a bad choice to even start with), she's cancelled performances and the whole Britney PG debacle has stained the GP's perception of her so much. Girl should take some of her some advice and click that log out button and stop looking for trouble, before she has everyone against her.

This is what happens when you enter the game of internet trolls, I get that you're pissed because of the amount of hate you get on twitter but you're just making such a big deal out of it and making things WORSE. AND IT'S YOUR FAULT.
Do not come here now saying "but there was no shade in my tweets!!!! it was all good intentions!!!! she's my friend!" when you clearly tried to throw her under a bus and brush off any responsability of the song not doing well. You did not say "I wish I had promoted our single a little more", you commented on Britney's contract in a shady way, you clearly implied that you wanted to promote the song and that Britney was lazy/couldn't be bothered to promote it, and that excuse was a innecesary lie, and now that the media pointed it out and the fans were disappointed in this behaviour, you, again, don't take responsability of your words and say "no, it was actually the media!"
The single was not bad. The video was good. You brought out Britney's attitude from last decade. And we all are thankull to you for that, but let's not get it twisted now. You RUINED Pretty Girls, not Britney because she didn't promote it. You know damn well what kind of artist Britney is and you agreeded to collab with her. You forced her team to release the song even if Britney's record was not ready. You made both teams rush it when you didn't even have a clear direction of the new album and ended up delaying it. I get that you were excited for this and it clearly shows up, but you ruined all of the work with your media management. But well, everyone's has a mismanaged single at one point, but you rarely see an artist throw under the bus his/her co-workers when the project fails and then refusing to take responsability when called out for it. And this is not new, you did the SAME with M0 last year.
CLOSE your damn twitter, STOP paying attention to what everyone says about you and FOCUS ON YOUR CAREER. You are WASTING the spotlight time every artist has with these beefs and ********, deliver a good record that can shut everyone's mouths up and let the music speak for itself. But no, you REFUSE to pay attention to what matters and find it more enjoyable to be the Wendy William's joke version of Twitter. Okay, good luck with that, Iggy, let's see how many people sticks with you in the end. You had me by your side at one point, and I, like pretty much everyone else, jumped the ship like a ****ing CHEETAH when you started to show up these colors, and you are the only one to blame.

When she is speaking on this, she's talking about her partner and collaborator on the song and there are working and personal relationships on the line based upon what she does or doesn't say -- completely different.
And no, she didn't outright and directly diss Britney, but what else is to be taken from that aside from the heavy implication that she felt the song flopped because Britney didn't want to promote? Plus her saying "she doesn't have to lick the woman's asshole" was pretty much a concession that she knew her statements weren't exactly flattering towards towards Britney/her work ethic, anyhow.
You don't have to be a people pleasing robot to have some common sense and discernment in the battles you pick. This was completely unnecessary. Going on social media to air her grievances about the song flopping changed nothing and only yet another wave of bad press and some professional bridges burned for Iggy.

Yes, she's talking about her partner, but she still didn't say anything that's actually rude. Saying she wanted to promote more is not rude, that's speaking your mind. The only reason why we find this annoying is because Iggy is a celebrity. Let's compare this to a school project, if one person did much more work than the other and that person says they wish the other did more, nobody would find this annoying. Iggy doesn't act like a traditional celebrity, but there's nothing wrong with that. Personally I prefer an artist that speaks their mind over an artist that has scripted interviews, but we can agree to disagree.
And I know it's "unnecessary" and brings "bad press", but it shouldn't be that way. These rules in the music industry shouldn't exist and have nothing to do with artistry. Iggy's just pointing out these flaws in the media. Instead of bashing artists that "break the rules", we should praise them for trying to make a change.

Wouldn't be surprised if the media response is being fanned by Larry and Adam to help Britney.

Regardless how much I personally dislike Britney's music but saying "sucking her asshole 24/7" is beyond vulgar. It's trash, disrespectful and simply graceless. Who does she think she is talking about? Britney ain't even her friend. Hell, Brit could hardly remember where she was from.

I love how she's always trying to make it a feminist issue and no one buys it.
Take some ownership lol.

That moment when ATRL (and the media) fail to realize that consistently trashing iggy is indirectly keeping her relevant thus making it harder to go away. No publicity is bad publicity.
Parish Hilton was trash talked
Justin Bieber was trash talked
Azealia Banks was trashed talked
If you guys (and the world) truly wanted iggy to fade away, they would stop posting about her, treat her as if she didnt matter. They wouldnt use her as clickbait. People love to hate her (look at KEN and Rihinvention obsessing over her) and as long as she's a social pariah, my fave will never leave. So please ATRL continue posting threads, articles and writing essays on how much you hate her. Even if iggy's next era completely flops, the amount of hatred she stirs will keep her afloat
