He's right. She always needs a crutch, be it her Friends castmates or male co-stars/ensembles. Meanwhile some people (like Angelina and Britney) are stars by themselves.
Mr & Mrs Smith outgrossed every Aniston movie. Wanted, Salt, The Tourist (
) and Tomb Raider outgrossed every Aniston movie excluding the Jim Carrey vehicle Bruce Almighty (again, clinging to bigger stars).
Aniston may very well be the only household name in film history who has never carried a movie.
