He was 15 levels higher. That's much more difficult either way, plus you get he Psychic TM in Saffron city, which is meant to be after Fuchsia, next.

Brycen is a movie star-turned-Gym Leader in Icirrus City. He's an ice-type leader so by nature he's not that difficult, and he even retired from it in B2W2. He's meant to be a very stoic and mysterious character, but the writing just makes him come across as boring. His gym puzzle is more sliding, but it's a little more inventive I guess. Meh.
Hugamari gave him a 0 "because of the annoying Pokestar Studios thing you're forced to do in BW2" and HausofNiko thinks he's "gross and forgettable", and since those are the only comments he's probably right.

Gardenia is the Gym Leader of Eterna City, and she's a very perky girl. She's a decent challenge with her Roserade, but her gym is pretty lame. It's slightly better in Platinum but nothing to gag over. The only real interesting trait she has is her scared nature. She tells you about the Old Chateau but doesn't dare to explore it herself, chickening out at the entrance. She also is scared at the thought of a grass/ghost type pokémon. Hmm...
HausofNiko thinks she has a "gross design" and 8thPrince calls her a "flop ass bitch hiding in her flop ass maze", ouch. Hugamari is living for her Roserade though. That alone justifies a decent score tbh.

I love grass-type leaders tho so slay me. One of the only tolerable Gen IV leaders.
