I don't like the indie-pronunciation (like on the word "curious" in the first verse) but her voice sounds so much more healthy: the support, the resonance, and her vibrato sounds infinitely better. I can't wait to see what the album brings
I like it. Although I think the chorus where "Take me..." starts, is kinda redundant.
Instead the line where it goes, "Don't tell your mother, kiss one another, die for each other, we're cool for the summer." *beat drops* is enough to be the chorus.

I agree with this point a bit but Max and his team probably just wanted that extra chorus to keep it more pop friendly.
Am I the only one who finds "Cool for the Summer" disappointing? In comparison to her previous lead singles, this is by far her worst. Hopefully the album is better than this. It's not awful, but it's not great either.

No I agree. Not sure if I prefer it or HWGA, but the other three are miles ahead. The only bit I really love is the chorus.
