Sad update
My mum passed away at 5am this morning. I was at home and I'm a really deep sleeper, so I usually set a few alarms before when I have to get up, and I kept getting the call trying to tell me what had happened but I slept through it thinking it was just the warning alarms. I'm a little angry at myself but apparently I wouldn't have gotten there in time anyway.
I guess in a sense it's a little bit of a relief because at least she's not in pain anymore and stuff, but still.
