Excuse you? This is NOT the end ot the road. This is a small step. Now, arguably more than ever, we need our allies (throughout media, politics, culture) to continue to fight to advance our equal rights.
We still need nationwide anti-discrimination policies. We need to catch up to the straights in a number of fields. Trans people, POC, immigrants continue to be particularly disadvantaged within the gay community and society as a whole.
Now is the very
worst time for silence and complacency.
