Michael's thing was he changed so many aspects of the industry.
Videos, performances, etc. He changed what a lot of people expected out of those things.

I prefer Michael to Prince. I've barely ever listened to Prince tho because I'm not going to buy his music if I haven't thoroughly heard it and enjoyed it, and it is nowhere to be found on the internet

Michael is everything to me tho, for sure my favorite male artist of all time. I don't find him to be even slightly overrated. There's a reason him moving his head an inch caused people to scream/cheer/cry harder than anyone else while they're performing at their best

Well, I mean, he wasn't really doing any live performances after 1993 so. After the 80's he became a studio voice, and plus he's a bleaching self-hater and possibly a pedophile. + he was a gay who doesn't realize he's a gay and hates gay.

But Prince is also a closeted weirdo, Madonna is just terrible in general, and Whitney was a crackhead. The 80's was a weird time.

It's always the crazy ones that deliver the best. I mean, look at what we have now. Taylor is ~so relatable to everyone and she's just like us!!!!!!111 yet she serves us garbage and is the top pop star of the last 10 years.
