Sam Smith can obviously sing, but I don't get how people like his voice, It's so ****ing grating.
Lay Me Down is atrocious because he's banshee screaming the whole song. His falsetto is just uuugghhh. I couldn't make it through half his album.
Guys like Ed Sheeran and Charlie Puth may not have as strong voices, but imo they're much more enjoyable to the ear.
