1. Sparks - 8/10: Would've been higher if the whistles weren't in the song. I am also not a fan of the bridge. I actually heard a remix I liked more than the original, but that wasn't a part of the album.
2. My Kind - 6/10: Very minor changes, such as a more powerful-sounding chorus, slight changes in melody, etc. would do wonders for this song, but as it stands, it just reeks of unmet-potential.
3. One In a Million - 7/10: Improvement, but still feels like something is missing. Will that be a common theme in this album?
4. Confetti - 6/10: Reminds me too much of Carly. I even feel like some of Carly's vocal mannerisms are in this song. It annoyed me. The vocals knocked at least 1.5 off.
5. Breathe In, Breathe Out - 4.5/10:
This corny ass mess with forced rhymes. It ain't even cute sonically, either.
6. Lies - 7.5/10: Out of the album tracks I haven't heard, I like this one the best. The only thing is that, I felt like some other artist...or maybe artists...have released this song before. It feels THAT familiar.
7. Arms Around a Memory - 6.5/10: The rest of the song drags down the breakdown, not that I was scalped by that or anything.
8. Stay In Love - 3.5/10: Annoying vocal delivery, some of the messiest lyrics I have ever heard (non-ironically or sarcastically, everyone left in the competition could write a lyrically better song than this), and there's no special redeeming qualities I can find here.
9. Brave Heart - 6/10: This is what I'd imagine a mashup of all the most generic lyrics used in this season of PH would sound like if put together. (I heard some of my lines
)
10. Tattoo - It was acoustic, so I wasn't about to listen. This won't count towards the album score.
11. Picture This - 4/10: I'm mad @ the song going electronic-feeling for a second, then going to some generic pop sound. **** you, Hilary.
12. Night Like This - 9/10 for the chorus, 2/10 for the rest. 11/20 = 5.5/10: They oddly harmonize well together, and Koma improved the song so much. It'd stay 2/10 without him. I hate guitar-led pop songs, and this is a shining example of one.
Overall: 58/100, Mixed.
