In that DM, Rih also said that she wasn't putting the album out until she believed in it. That ALONE let me know that the album wasn't going to be ready until November at the EARLIEST. And she clearly wasn't and isn't ready to put out the album. Her not seeming to care for BBHMM is another story.

Maybe y'all are just trying to pass the time and it all went over my head.

Now I know the production of the DWT wasn't as big as some of the other pop girls, but the reason I pay £60 for a ticket is to see and hear Rihanna, she could literally just stand at the mic and sing/half sing her songs for 2 hours and I would be happy.

All the huge pop productions the other girls have feels like a way to distract from the fact that they can't hold an audience or aren't natural performers. I go to see Rihanna, not 50 dancers spinning around her with flaming arms wearing flamingo costumes.

R8 is not coming in 2015 guys.
Rihanna is waiting for her deal with TIDAL to expire. She and some other pop stars such as Madonna and Nicki Minaj signed a deal with TIDAL which requires them to make anything they release in 2015 TIDAL exclusive first ( I'm not sure if it includes albums too or just singles and videos) This deal was signed shorty after Rihanna released BBHMM on iTunes (I guess it was at that ''meeting'' they had together at March 30. BBHMM was released March 26). After the major underperformance of American Oxygen, Rihanna doesn't want to take a big risk and release the new ''lead'' single and music video as a TIDAL exclusive. This is the reason the BBHMM video was scrapped too. She knew the video and all the budget money would go to waste and have little effect on the songs success as a TIDAL exclusive. So she scrapped it altogether.

Tl; dr: Rihanna knows she can't resurrect the era with TIDAL so she is waiting for her deal with the streaming service to expire to release the new single and album. IMO

How do you know exactly what the contract holds? Maybe it says that she has to release everything from R8 through TIDAL no matter the time

and if they already shot the video than it would be pointless not to release it, I mean TIDAL or not, the video is gonna have more impact released today than in 2016
