Anyway I'm not really surprised I'm flopping on reflection, it's whatever. People don't like confident people and feel they need to humble them, I guess it's no different here.

My song flopped because it exudes confidence bordering on arrogance. This is why I've always rejected my confidence. This is why I've always been like, "Oh no, my score wasn't that good" even though I studied hard for that test. This is why I stopped running for the student council even though I wanted nothing more than to be class captain. This is why I haven't told hardly any of my friends about my fantastic final grade after finishing college last year. This is why I still haven't told anyone in my real life that I write songs and that I want to make it in the music industry. People hate confidence. I used to be so confident when I was younger, and then I was basically ruined because of it. It's taken most of my teenage years to get over this self-depreciation that I've forced myself to endure and get to a stage where I can be proud of myself again. So even if this song flops, I don't really care. It was important for me. But some things never change.

We don't judge content, we judge quality. And you weren't even last in anyone's ranking, so when you say you "flopped", you're basically disrespecting the contestants that are below you and there are 3 of them in both mine and Tymps' rankings. The fact that you're so certain your song was so amazing and deserved top 5 in individual rankings that you're willing to blame us for purposely humbling you for your
confidence is much more off-putting than any of the lines in your
confident song. Maybe you're kidding... hopefully...
Anyway, the confidence and the overall honesty of it is the very reason you were #6 and not #8 or #9 in my ranking, so it's the other way around actually.
