I know, but Jon was such a heroic figure... There is really no one else thinking about the bigger picture expect for Melisandre and she's a literal psycho. Everyone else is too busy playing the Game of Thrones, even Daenerys who is the only other contender for the prophecy.

I'm excited to see all the White walker scenes next season, so i'll have that to look forward to.

I got through the first four seasons in such a ridiculously short amount of time.

I still haven't started on Season 5 though, so I'll probably do that tomorrow, I don't want to run out of episodes though, the struggle.

Just read a theory that the white walkers will bring down the wall and start marching south, while Jon's body will by carried far north to be turned into the new leader of the white walkers to stop the war...

I think Jon'll be resurrected on his funeral pyre, so probably episode 1 or 2 of the next season, they'll burn him and when it dies down he'll be on the floor naked

My ultimate "trinity" (and favourite character stories) would be Daenerys, Jon Snow and Margaery. I DID have such high hopes throughout season two and three that the Starks would reunite, especially since Arya was so close, but I shouldn't have expected any less, since this show is such carnage.

I loved Ygritte too, I was hoping for good things with her and Jon. And now I know Jon dies at the end of season five and I think I must have some kind of curse where all my faves die in shows I like.

And I also kinda love Ramsay, but I think that's only because of the actor.

But I think he'll come back episode 3 or 4. They're gonna keep him dead for the first 2 or 3 episodes so we can see the Wildlings clash with the Nights watch and maybe they'll let the white walkers get through the wall.

Though as far as we know so far based on what has been shown/written only baby humans can be transformed into White Walkers like this. They presumably can't do it with adults otherwise they'd be doing it to everyone and wouldn't have any need for Wights.

I thought the babies were sacrifices to their God or something. If all of Craster's sons were turned into white walkers there'd be more of them? Idk, maybe we haven't seen them all. Just seems like a really unreliable way to recruit new members...

Sacrifices to God were what Craster thought they are, but then you see a Walker take the baby away and then that ^ happens. idk my interpretation of it was that since Craster had fathered and disowned so many baby boys that most of the younger White Walkers would be Craster's sons. We've only seen a small handful of them imo.

See, I'd prefer it to happen like that, but with the threat of the walkers and the others, I think it'd be something they'd end up doing straight away

See, I think it's gonna happen the opposite way. I think he'll remain "dead" for most of the next season at least. Like in the prophecy of Azor Ahai he appears to defeat the White Walkers/The Great Other right when all hope seems lost. I feel like the situation with the White Walkers will have to get waaaaaaaaay worse before the prophecy comes back around.

This is actually a very likely scenario imo. He may not even appear at all next season.

But to have your (second?) most popular actor/character out of running for so long... I'm not a 100% sure they can commit, but it's likely because that makes the most sense story wise.

How can he remain dead for so long tho, LSH was dead for 3 days and she's an utter state, surely the resurrection would need to happen quickly for him to still "be there" mentally if you will
