No. Let me explain:
1) You don't make up a media controversy and shade another WOMAN for publicity
2) While the woman (Katy Perry) has done nothing wrong and we have multiple receipts.
3) While strongly alluding to the woman in one interview, and yet stating in another interview that you don't want to create any rumors or anything
4) Then releasing a music video with one and a half dozen of her closest friends as a means to attack the said woman.
That's why I drag her. I agree; being a feminist doesn't mean you have to support all women. Especially not the problematic, immature, downright silly ones. It's simply a matter of right vs wrong. Taylor's in the wrong. Sorry.

It is amusing to see that someone who was not involved in a situation at all, pretend that they know who was in the wrong. That is hardly an intellectually honest conclusion.
Taylor feels wronged by Katy. She knows more about what went down and the nature of their relationship a lot better than randoms on atrl. You simply cannot pretend to know that Katy did nothing wrong. You don't know that. Making claims to the contrary makes you look deluded. Are you next going to pretend to know more about why Katy broke up with Russell Brand, than those two themselves? Your receipts are BS and not worth anything. Is a KatyCat really attempting to claim a woman cannot write about people who have done her wrong? Hypocrisy awaits those who do.
It is perfectly valid to give a backstory to various songs that you have written. Taylor never named Katy Perry. It was the internet investigators who knew about Katy's backstabbing behaviour. Without that backstory in RS magazine, everyone in the media would falsely claim the song was about Harry Styles, in the same way they do about IKYWT, a song that was not about him, but the media claims it was.
Taylor subsequently refused to talk about Katy Perry in another interview, when asked about it. Her making no comment is perfectly fine. If she had publicly lambasted her, you would be complaining about that. Don't pretend Taylor not commenting on Katy is something you find objectionable. That is clearly clutching at straws in a reach to find something to object about. Anyone who does that is not behaving rationally. Someone making 'No comment', is not a sin. Pretending it is, just makes you look like an idiot. It is standard media practice to avoid giving a controversial answer. Claiming otherwise, just displays ignorance of this practice.
Taylor is perfectly entitled to make a MV and invite some friends to take part. Katy Perry participated in Madonna's recent video, so KatyCats cannot object to MV cameos unless they also criticise Katy for these. Failure to do so, makes them hypocrites.
