What ruined Artpop for me was when all those demos starting leaking of songs like donatella, MJH, aura etc etc and it turned out all gaga did was put her vocals over a song that was already done for someone else. Lazy attempt , the album just feels like a remix lp tbh

Something of a childhood dream or fantasy because what I was thinking while I was singing there and my mom was hanging me napkins...so I was thinking "If only they knew how many bad songs before that good one...so many (tears in her voice).
So many bad songs ..but when I was about 13 years old my mom got something in the mail from the Songwriters Hall of Fame that there was a songwriting forum...guild..club that you could be a part of to take classes and meet other song writers and I applied when I was very young. And I got to join this guild so..(I think it was Wednesdays) I used to go and play my songs in a room full of that were mostly in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s and I was the lonely young kid with the bad songs.
And it was an extremely important moment for me in my life because I realised that there were people that actually cared that I wrote music and not a lot of people care about that.
But the ones that do are who are breathing life into the future of music so thank you so much

I guess I speak from, you know, my generation that....and I don't mean it in a bad way...it's just that nowadays if you write your own songs it's not something that everybody knows (whether?) it's the most important thing. But it is important to me, it's really important to me cause I know when I go home at night, that I wrote that song and you guys made that possible and I wanna see more songwriters as artists that have the spotlight on them for their talent that their in their rooms writing writing their songs and that it's coming from them and that every album that you watch that they put out, you gonna be seeing something that is a true struggle from a human being that is honest and true and thank you for taking care of us and making us feel like we matter because at the end of the day writing songs is what makes me really feel like I matter.

Tony I am so grateful to because he is always looking out for me and I am very honored that he was here tonight to present this award to me and I'm very honered that Linda Perry was here tonight and I consider them true, true and two huge influences in my life and I hope anyone that's here can see a true dream has been made come true cause these artists supported another artist and I am very grateful that I'm here.
I feel that I have a lot of work to do as personally I feel extremely unaccomplished as a song writer as my heroes have done some things that I can only dream of and I feel very in my infancy as a writer and I thank you for just ...at this point of my career, I've had some ups, I've had some downs, I've had some in betweens that you've chosen to honor me for the onlu thing I know I have which is my heartbeat which is that I write songs so thank you *applause starts*...*blows kisses* and my mom and my dad and my sister *blows kisses*

Anyway, I think I may have talked about this before but I was just reminded of this today.

In 2013 (can't remember the exact date but I know Applause was already out), our school was treated to a special concert from Reik. Before the show began, they did this flash mob type thing were they played the biggest gits from the 50s to the 10s.

They did Elvis for 50s, Beatles in the 60s (?), ABBA in the 70s.
Like a Virgin, Thriller, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, etc for the 80s.
Barbie Girl, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Believe, Ace of Base, etc for 90s.
Oops I Did It Again, Single Ladies, Bad Romance, Baby, etc for 00s.
Firework, Waka Waka, some Bruno Mars song for 10s

Obviously there were more songs played, those are just the ones I recall.
And I remember that when Thriller came on, it was the loudest cheer I had ever heard in person. Second loudest was Bad Romance and everyone was singing it and doing the little monster hand dance from the video

I specifically remember the girl in front of me getting up just to dance to Bad Romance.
I think Firework was the third loudest cheer, that or Single Ladies. Barbie Girl and Baby got a lot of screams too.

She reworked MJH with Madeon, changed the Infected Mushroom track with Zedd. The only track which she just added her vocals to was Donatella

Literally everyone at my school sas talking about it all week. The E! premiere was amazing.

Was Telephone the original queen of most views in 24hrs?
