tbh the songs really aren't necessary. I listened to the playlist and my song is NOTHING like them but I'm 100% sure it still fits the brief.

Yeah, it was helpful from that perspective. If anything I'd say my song is closest to "Bitch"... but it's still pretty different and sounds vastly different (in my head).
Ok, so after my walk (which it was raining during, and I had to keep my shorts up, hold an umbrella, and a drink. I also changed songs on my iPod I didn't like, but I didn't have to do that ), I re-evaluated my song, and it's not as bad as I thought it was. It's growing on me, actually. Yes, my song is going to be called "To Me...", I figured it'd go well with my song "To You...", and since the song is about ourselves, it was a fitting title!
