What the hell is the problem people have with Haitians?
I had been hearing about the Dominicans deporting Haitians for a while now, but come to find out the Bahamas, Brazil, Canada and another country are doing the same thing. I kinda understand the Dominican-Haitian feud but damn the whole world has it out for Haiti.

them being the first successful slave revolt in history really prevented them from truly being as well as they could...all countries failing to acknowledge Haitian independence in fear that their own slaves would look for inspiration and revolt

Racism is alive and well, and it KILLS me that some can't see that!
I remembered trying to get through to my ex about this (underground racism/bias in the media and justice system, cultural appropriation, ect.), but he didn't want to hear it. Telling me that blacks would be more respected if they stopped committing crimes and ****.
Pfft...of course he didn't get it. He lived in the country his entire life with his frumpy ass.
