I'm actually only American by nationality, my parents are from the Caribbean.

My point is that Dominicans seem to think African Americans are the only ones who see them Black, and they so desperately want to hide away from the stigma that Whites have given other Blacks in other parts of the world.

Literally the whole world views them as Negroes except themselves.

Dominicans be like "I have 10% more European heritage than you, so I'm better than you"
